The 2030 Agenda

Today we became aware of this latest UN initiative (Zero Hedge: The UN Just Unleashed “The Global Goals” – The Elites’ Blueprint For A “United World”) replacing Agenda 21. Here’s your introduction to it:

This video is a visual and auditory cacophony, and as we shall see, of ideological positions that cannot succeed. There is the potential for much death and destruction before its failure is finally accepted.

After a hiatus we post a new essay by Paul Merkley.. We present this essay reprinted by permission of Paul and from The Bayview Review. See the links at the end for direct access to the rest of Paul’s work.

We have seen the Pope’s plan for bringing a happy ending to the “migrant crisis” and we have seen Chancellor Merkel’s – both the original and the revised versions. (“The Muslim Swarm: Part One: Storming Europe’s External and Internal Frontiers,” www.thebayviewreview, September 18, 2015.) Less noticed has been an even more thorough-going  plan proposed by the leader that the Muslim world generally looks up to as the best proof that Allah favors those who honor him openly — the wealthiest and most powerful man amongst them. He, King Salman of Saudi Arabia, will surely know what to do for these poor people. And indeed he does: he wishes them all Godspeed on their way to Europe.

The Deep State

We have come to realize that everything that we see and think contains a subtle and pervasive bias – that everything about our Western world is good and right. Anything that does not align with our interests and beliefs is bad and wrong and to be destroyed. Lately we find ourself questioning assumptions for which we can find no basis such as the United States is good and Russia is bad. To move past these biases and assumptions is to become aware of the Deep State, the power structure that governs the world.

To get a flavour for the Deep State, watch this documentary on Martin Armstrong:

This is a new topic for us to document and explore.

Flash Point: The Muslim Demographic in Europe

We wish to capture a link to a study referenced in Zero Hedge and done by Pew research, that reviews the Muslim demographic in Europe: Europe’s Ethnic (R)Evolution – It Will Never Be The Same Again. As a percentage of total population, France has the most Muslims at 7.5% while Germany has the largest number in absolute terms (over 4.7 million). The map pictured in the study is most helpful.

The Minimum-Wage Fight, Chinese Factories, and the Rise of Robot

Below is a free email from Mauldin economics that we reproduce because we couldn’t find a link to it.

I was raised on a small vegetable farm near Tacoma, Washington. My father hired lots of high school kids to work the fields in the summer.

In February of 1968, when the minimum wage was increased from $1.40 an hour to $1.60 an hour, I overheard some of my father’s employees excitedly talking about the 20-cent raise they were about to receive.

Socialism: Living and Minimum Wages

We have touched on the minimum wage issue in several posts and have stuck links in various essays without any organized approach. The topic has become prominent enough both in contemporary legislation and socialist agendas that it warrants its own index article.

We will not consolidate links embedded in past essays but list the essays at the end. We will start collect references in the chronology below, beginning with the article that shows how the Walmart wage hike has impacted its entire supply chain at the cost of jobs throughout.

Pondering Hitler’s Legacy

By George Friedman

Happenstance has brought me today to a house on the Austria-Germany border, just south of Salzburg. That puts me about 3 miles from the German town of Berchtesgaden, on the German side of the border. Adolf Hitler’s home, the Berghof, was just outside the town, on a mountain in the Bavarian Alps. To the extent that Hitler had a home, this was it, and it was the place where Hitler met with many notables, particularly before the war began.
