It’s 5:30 AM and the night didn’t cool off. I’ve been awake since 4:00 brooding.

Shadows are falling and I’ve been here all day
It’s too hot to sleep, time is running away
Feel like my soul has turned into steel
I’ve still got the scars that the sun didn’t heal
There’s not even room enough to be anywhere
It’s not dark yet, but it’s getting there

Bob Dylan: ‘Not Dark Yet’

Listen to Dylan singing it as you read on:

I’ve been trying to make sense of what is happening in the world for some time. Re-creation of a blog is allowing me to muse and collect information as I piece things together. My last post ‘COVID-19 As the Cover for a Communist Takeover of Society‘ was a start.

I’ve been discussing issues with friends but the discussions haven’t gone deep – they get stuck in the race riots and the insane, inane behaviour of the progressive segment of our society. I am finding articles, however, by people who have really gone down the rabbit hole.

Peter Koenig is one such person. Today I found his recent article ‘The Global Reset – Unplugged. “The Deep State”‘. In the article, he identifies the key global institutions that are working towards a Global government through a Great Reset proposed by the World Economic Forum.

Koenig has identified the pieces. The next step is to understand how they are being put together. He ends on a somewhat positive note. I don’t share his conviction.

If you have any interest in working together to shine light into these dark places, contact me at ‘thePOOG[at]digitaldoor.net. It’s not dark yet, but it’s getting there.

The POOG

I started a blog in 2011 called The POOG, an acronym for "pissed off old guy". This is the current incarnation.

Booker T. Washington 1856-1915 predicted BLM 100 years ago. Educator & adviser to multiple U.S. presidents, leading voice of former slaves. First president of Tuskegee Univ., home Tuskegee Airmen who fought for American – all of us! – freedom: “There is (a) class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, & the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs – partly because they want sympathy & partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs… There is a certain class of race problem-solvers who don’t want the patient to get well, because as long as the disease holds out they have not only an easy means of making a living, but also an easy medium through which to make themselves prominent before the public.” – 1911 speech

Compare Patrice Khan-Collors, BLM co-founder “We actually do have a ideological frame. Myself and Alicia (Alicia Garza) in particular are trained organizers. We are trained Marxists, we are super-versed on ideological theories.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64SC9dQxo9s&feature=emb_rel_pause or https://youtu.be/GBD-F9iB_Vg?t=14

Per BLM website: “We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure”; note they deliberately exclude fathers. Yet Bill Owens, of Coalition of African-American Pastors said it is public policies that have torn apart black families. “We’ve seen decades of policies that helped destroy the black family and the black community.” Per The Black Book of Communism, Harvard Univ. Press, communism murdered almost 100 million people last century. Or do lives only matter when used to make political hay? Why is convicted Marxist terrorist Susan Rosenberg (google her!) the main fund raiser for BLM? Isn’t it odd that leftists claim to be so opposed to racism, yet are the first people make generalizations based on race? It’s not race or marginalized groups. Rather, it’s collectivism/Marxism vs. liberty/voluntarism/free choice.

Of course black lives matter. NO one disagrees with that. So do all human – red, yellow, and white – lives. Please photocopy this and pass on to others!

Socialism is precisely the religion that must overwhelm Christianity. … In the new order, Socialism will triumph by first capturing the culture via infiltration of schools, universities, churches and the media by transforming the consciousness of society.”
– Antonio Gramsci (1891–1937) Gramsci was a leading Marxist philosopher prior to WWII
