There is more than enough evidence to argue that a soft coup has been in progress for the last 4 years. Many of us have followed the various plots and subplots culminating in as Joe Biden put it “the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics” (see: Biden North + Music for You). There is still a lot of activity going on including what will be a Supreme Court challenge. But there may be a much deeper and defensive action going on that I have only found bits and pieces of references to. The following video captures some of it. We should know in short order, say a month and a half, if this is going anywhere.

If I get more intelligence on this I’ll follow up.

I’ve been working on a contribution to a virtual choir so I don’t have much new material on my site. I did well over 30 takes or attempts. Some didn’t get in more than a dozens bars before something fell apart, a slow entry, a wrong word, or simply running out of air. On one take the cat came in and meowed. After another take which went extremely well, I found that I had forgotten to press the record button. When you’re not hiding in a choir, breath control is critical, as is pitch when you can’t tune off of your neighbour.

Here is some recent music from people who do it well.

The first is by a person you would know by now, Michael Eldridge:

Also from a group you should also know, Fountainview Academy (more from them over the next couple of weeks).

We are entering the season of Advent in the Christian Church. Along with Easter it has been the richest period for music. Our churches are silent so we have to take the music underground. I’ll be providing much this season for you to enjoy.

The POOG

I started a blog in 2011 called The POOG, an acronym for "pissed off old guy". This is the current incarnation.
