I begin the day going through material that has come in through email. Then I go through subscription sources. From JV I got this reference to COVID home test kits. Yesterday I was trying to find the cost to taxpayers. Here’s an update.

About Home Test Kits

Remember a couple of years ago when single-use plastics were the environmental movement’s pet peeve and politicians took up the cry? In this short video – at least watch from 1:30 minutes onward – Prime Minister Trudeau announces Canada’s response:

Trudeau bans plastic straws.

Now the oceans are being choked by the latest plastic scourge: A ticking plastic bomb’: 3 million face masks are thrown out every minute, researchers warn. But at least the shrill protests of Trudeau and the environmental movement are heard calling out this catastrophe:

Now we have another COVID contribution to the global waste problem exemplified by Biden’s recent announcement and as reported by Liberty Loft: “500 million at-home test kits at a cost of $3 billion” (read: FDA Admits Home PCR Test Kits Contain Known ‘Hazardous’ Drug). Assuming Biden’s plan is implemented, this will ad to the global mass of such test kits to be tossed into the garbage with possibly one or more hazardous chemicals.

Apart from giving an indication of the size of the market for these kits, it also gives some appreciation of the total costs and the financial windfall for the industry.

At this point I have seen no data on the quality of these tests in terms of false positives and false negatives. We don’t test for either the flu or the common cold. Why are we testing for Omicron at huge expense?

Not an RT-PCR Test

The home test kit IS NOT a PCR test no matter what anyone tells you. To understand why, see the description of how the PCR test works by CP Davis, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Test, or read my research in The RT-PCR Test.

Vaccine Collateral Damage and Body Count

Many have referred to the ‘COVID war’. Indeed the human cost of the vaccines is approaching such a scale. From the Open VAERS Project weekly report of December 17, here is the data. In Figure 1 we see the total deaths per year reported in the US for ALL vaccines.

Figure 1. Source: Open VAERS.

Others have done the analysis and concluded COVID vaccine deaths exceed all deaths for all other vaccines reported since VAERS inception.

Next, in Figure 2, we see the time after injection before symptom is observed. IT forms a nice exponential decay function that one would expect from a biological system. Adverse event reporting systems such as I understand is the case with the recently constructed Canadian system (please send me documentation on this), that have arbitrarily short cut-off constraints are simply useless.

Figure 2. Source: Open VAERS.

Finally, Figure 3 shows the overall tally of adverse effects.

Figure 3 gives the summary totals to December 17, 2021.

It is difficult to know how much that the data above under-reports the actual numbers. I have seen estimates of 10, 41, and 100 times under-reporting. The most cited study[2] by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Inc. (HPHC) concluded:

Although 25% of ambulatory patients experience an adverse drug event, less than 0.3% of all adverse drug events and 1-13% of serious events are reported to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Likewise, fewer than 1% of vaccine adverse events are reported. Low

HPHC[2]

So Tomljenovic et al.[1] agree with the Pilgrim study that 100 times under-reporting may be our best estimate. This would mean 2 million vaccine deaths to date in the US alone.

Who’s Freezing in the Dark?

It always struck me as atrocious that the Liberal government was taxing people to heat their homes with fossil fuels. There is no alternative now and certainly not for many years to come. This attempted reduction of plant food (CO2) production can have no measurable impact on the climate.

However, it is instructive to see how other countries, particularly China, are addressing this problem: China Fires Up New Giant Coal Power Plant in Face of Calls for Cuts. Coal as a commodity is booming and some companies have an order book full for the next two years.

Food Shortages

This is another topic that I follow, global food shortages. As a last item for today, consider the following two articles The first comes from Japan: Three Boeing 747 Freighters Packed With Potatoes Head To Japan Amid French Fry Shortage. Who woulda thunk it?

The second article from Zero Hedge is about a topic I became aware of a couple of days ago from a source I follow in Israel: Israel Orders 100 Million Eggs As Bird Flu Outbreak Threatens Food Supply. A migrating flock of cranes that landed in the Sea of Galilee was decimated by an outbreak of the avian influenza virus, H5N1. The virus was transmitted to Israeli poultry farms, possibly by air transmission on wind. Hundreds of thousands of chickens and other poultry died or had to be culled producing an egg shortage.
