Magnetometer Networks

Magnetometers are devices that measure the earth’s magnetic field strength. This topic requires scientific knowledge to understand. Natural Resources Canada runs a Canadian magnetometer network found at Geomagnetism Canada. A list and map of Canadian magnetic observatories can be found here.

Daily data is shown graphically for the observatories and is shown in Figure 1 below.
