In this playbook, I distill the tactics of the state in subjugating its population.

The Tactics

In no particular order, these are the tactics used by the state.

  1. Perpetual fear[2].
  2. Destruction of the language to control thinking[3]. Newspeak.
  3. Institutionalized hate.
  4. Sanctioned slogans.
  5. Rewriting history.

Others have taken a similar approach such as Zero Hedge[4] which republished the Tweet thread by Sarah Downey on the topic.
