Expanding this a bit would include being met by entities in the other state from higher spiritual dimensions. There are those who through their research believe that this is a trap designed to catch souls and ensure that they are recycled into further incarnations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The idea is disturbing and may be false but its implication warrants careful consideration. Then take 3 deep breaths.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>With the first, ask your higher self to remove any artificial, extraneous influences..<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>With the second breath, call on your higher self to manifest in your heart center as a spark or light.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Next, slowly expand it to cover from your third eye to your belly button. Affirm your divine nature. Then expand this presence to include your whole body. You may converse with your higher self.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He doesn&#8217;t say when to correlate the third deep breath. One really should listen to his extended description of how to carry out this process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Comments<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The articles published in <a href=\"https:\/\/thepoog.com\/wp\/2025\/11\/23\/gnostic-wisdom\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gnostic Wisdom<\/a> cover the topics that I have been studying for the last few years. The Gnostic work provides the grand cosmology and describes the place and nature of the material world &#8211; what we might call reality &#8211; within it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the other hand, Carl Jung and Alan Watts focus on our awakening to our basic transcending nature. But they do not recognize our transcendent nature as being trapped in the material cycle of reincarnation. Cayce does not appear to recognize that we are in a trap but describes how we grow spiritually while being recycled. He presents an architecture designed to grow us in the post-death realms. The goal is to attain Christ consciousness which elevates us above the realm of the Demiurge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Robert Monroe and Dorthy Cannon, from the little that I have read, recognize a wider spiritual cosmology that extends beyond that of the Demiurge. However, they may have a component of a reincarnation trap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The vast array of literature (and videos) dealing with the spiritual realm is in itself a trap if you don&#8217;t find a way to apply what you are studying. The big question becomes &#8220;How do I know what is true?&#8221; The answer for me is the Gnostic approach. This is to recognize that that experience which comes from within is truth. This of course the Gnostic approach and the fundamental approach espoused by Jesus when he said that the kingdom of God (or Heaven) is within (Luke 17:21 but more completely on the Gospel of Thomas). This was unacceptable to the Christian Church as it made their role in our lives largely irrelevant spiritually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So everything that I wish to considered is taken within. The challenge is to hear the &#8220;still small voice&#8221; which is the answer. This is my answer to the tunnel of light. Why do I have to accept it as &#8216;the way&#8217;? There seems to be an external compulsion to follow it which becomes more apparent when you start questioning it. At this point I turn to my God nature, that higher aspect of my divine nature. In conversations with it, I have made it clear that if I choose to come back it will be with full remembering of my full nature. The idea that we have to forget this nature when we reincarnate, if you think about it, makes no real sense. We do have a God-given free will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Postscript<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since I published this yesterday, two more videos came to my attention. The first (11:56 minutes) is this one:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Are We Repeating the Same Life Over and Over?\" width=\"750\" height=\"422\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jF-Vk_yrZhA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The second video below (18:32 minutes) takes a larger view of the specific issue of a soul trap as part of a larger illusion. I like the narrators personal view or understanding of what is going on. It is a slightly different flavour from much of the other material that I have presented but not inconsistent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"How To Break the Reincarnation Cycle and Escape The Simulation\" width=\"750\" height=\"422\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/tZcMINMd8Gs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Around 13:00 he starts talking about &#8220;soul&#8221;, defining it as that level of consciousness&#8217;s that is recycled in the reincarnation cycle. Our higher level of consciousness beyond this is what he calls &#8220;spirit&#8221;. This description has a huge resonance with me, clarifying an ambiguity that to this point has been unclear. At 13:18 he defines &#8220;spirit&#8221; as that that is aware of all what has been, is, and ever can be.
