It is important in this age of net zero to practice good NPI (non pharmaceutical intervention) measures with respect to your electric vehicle (EV). Starting today, social distancing will be implemented for Chevy Bolts: After Two Recalls, GM Finally Just Tells Bolt EV Owners: “Don’t Park Your Car Within 50 Feet Of Another Car”. This is to prevent your EV, should it catch fire, from communicating its disease to other nearby vehicles, particularly those that are not electric. Although Tesla declined to issue a similar statement, the frequency of Teslas spontaneously burning up would suggest similar measures.
Authorities are working on a vehicle passport system that will determine where your vehicle may drive and park. For example, EVs without a passport will not be allowed to park in the parking lot of sports stadiums where many other vehicles are parked in close contact.
Moderna has said they will have a vaccine out in three days to be injected into your EV’s battery. Pfizer is already seeking National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTS) approval for their experimental additive. We are assured that boosters will be available when needed.
