This is a new series of short, single topic notes on things that really matter. Michelle Rempel Garner, a Canadian Conservative MP, has just published an examination of Mark Carney as the likely replacement for Trudeau. I have long argued that he is the logical choice, partly because Freeland is too smug and condescending to attract voters.
Rempel goes into Carney’s background as an elitist and globalist. He is the Chair of Brookfield Asset Management and Head of Transition Investing. He will have full support of Liberal elitist money and corporate management. The one thing she leaves out is that he is, like Freeland, on the Board of Trustees of the WEF.
He is very smart and extremely well connected. We are screwed.
