Under construction

The documents of the Nag Hammadi Codex form a large library of Gnostic literature from the early Christian era before repression and persecution hid them from the growing Christian Church. There is no reader’s guide among them providing a structure for reviewing the collection.

Herein are the articles that I have produced as I studied Gnostic and other texts. The order listed in each section is roughly the order in which I created them. I recommend that one start with the Apocryphon of John.

Writings of the Apostles and Disciples

  • The Apocryphon of John.
  • The Gospel of Mary.
  • The Gospel of Thomas.

I started a blog in 2011 called The POOG, an acronym for "pissed off old guy". This is the current incarnation.
