Over the last year or so, my research has lead me two two major sources of wisdom. The first is the readings of Edgar Cayce. The second is the writings of the Gnostics. My exploitative writings will be grouped accordingly under subheadings.
Gnostic Literature
The documents of the Nag Hammadi Codex form a large library of Gnostic literature from the early Christian era before repression and persecution hid them from the growing Christian Church. There is no reader’s guide among them providing a structure for reviewing the collection.
Herein are the articles that I have produced as I studied Gnostic and other texts. The order listed in each section is roughly the order in which I created them. I recommend that one start with the Gospel of Thomas.
Gnostic Source Material
Writings of the Apostles and Disciples
Material on the Creation
- Gnostic Cosmology: Pt. 1, The Complete Picture.
- Gnostic Cosmology: Pt. 2, The Monad.
- Gnostic Cosmology: Pt. 3,The Pleroma, Aeons, the Kenoma, and the Soul.
- Pistis Sophia.
- The Gospel of Truth.
- The Gospel of the Egyptians.
Miscellaneous Texts
Edgar Cayce Material
Cayce gave over 14,000 psychic readings which are archived at the Cayce Foundation or ARE in Virginia Beach, Virginia. There are several agents which produce videos based on the Cayce readings. I have captured a few on aspects of the nature of creation and of souls.
My articles contain no direct links to actual source readings although such may be available to the public. This means that they lack the same integrity of articles on Gnostic literature where I can also include translation of source documents.
If Gnostic material gives an in-depth grand cosmology and description of the soul, Cayce gives a simpler abbreviate model but with explicit instructions on application for the ordinary individuals requesting personal readings.
- Edgar Cayce on Thinking and the Mind.
- Edgar Cayce on Meditation.
- The Story of Christmas and the Birth of the Soul, Yeshua.
- Melchizedek and the Other Incarnations of Yeshua (Jesus).

Other Relevant Sources of Spiritual Direction
The Near Death Experience (NDE)
Highly diverse since each NDE is personal, there are many aspects that are common. They all give a view of the afterlife immediately after death. By their nature they are not concerned with a grand cosmology although they are certainly relevant to such.
The Ethiopian Bible
The Ethiopian canon contains over 80 books compared to the standard Christian Bible of 66 books. As such it contains many important texts banned by the Christian authorities early in the 4th century.
The Writings of Alan Watts
Watts’ writings are appearing in videos in which their text is read by an AI-type interface. His writings are for the person who has “awakened” or is awakening. Such a person is experiencing difficulty and disconnect with normal people. If you are on the return path as the Gnostics guide, you are an awakening individual.
The Writings of Carl Jung
What I said about Watts applies equally to the work of Carl Jung.

YouTube Channels
These are videos from sources that appear to have a good understanding of the material that they report on. There are many others but these I feel comfortable recommending. As a caution, they all are narratives based on their sources understanding which may contain limitations or errors. None give their identity.
