Souls that have reached an advanced degree of spiritual awakening know they”don’t fit in” and are not bothered by it. It is the soul that is in the process of awakening that suffers greatly from not fitting in anywhere. Attempts to do so, if apparently successful on the surface are deeply unsatisfying internally.
Alan Watts has written extensively on the problem. There are now many YouTube channels that use text to speech software to create videos of his works. Here is a recent such video (15:30 minutes).
Bridge Souls
There is another class of souls that don’t fit in. These are souls born before 1960 that have incarnated to be a bridge between the recent 500 year epoch and an emerging new epoch that threatens to destroy the spiritual heritage of the last 500 years. Edgar Cayce describes these souls in the following video (30:09 minutes) as bridge souls.
Cayce had more to say about souls that don’t fit in, specifically in terms of the feeling of being alone. In the following video (30:12 minutes) he explores, as does Watta, the feelings of separation and isolation that come with spiritual growth.
Because this is such a broad topic in terms of individual experience, I will add one more video (17:50 minutes) from Alan Watts.

We are at a critical point in time where we need to disseminate truth to those who have ears to hear, and be forming communities of like-minded individuals. These souls are a bridge cohort that doesn’t fit into eitherepoch. If you want to discuss an idea or issue, contact me – see Contacts.
