The Gospel of Philip contains material from the time of Yeshua that is not touched upon in the other gnostic gospels. Specifically, it explains the Bridal Chamber and the union of the soul in its earthly state with the higher self.

The following video (21:13 minutes) provides an introduction to the gospel.

The Text of The Gospel of Philip – NHC II, 3

I provide links to two translations1,2. Due to its length, it is not copied inline below. Instead, the reader should go to the referenced text. After reading both I found the translation by Marvin Meyer2 more readable due to his formatting.

This is a difficult text A key concept is that of the bridle chamber. As such one should ensure they try and understand it as it is encountered.
